Forecastify costs your team's real worklogs against per-person cost cards, then reports margin, budget and forecast for every project while the work is still running.
14-day trial · no card · activated manually within one working day
During migration at a 60-person delivery company we reconciled 34 closed projects against their legacy costing system. Every project margin matched to within 0.5 percentage points — with no manual re-entry.
Reference implementation, 2025 · figures verified against the customer's own close

A separate permissionThe close is too late
A project runs for six months. Hours land in Jira, invoices land in the ledger, and the two are only put side by side when finance closes the period. By then the answer is a fact, not a decision.
The margin usually goes early — an underestimated integration, a senior developer covering for a junior, three weeks of unbilled rework. All of it is visible in the worklogs the week it happens. It just isn’t costed until it is too late to act on.

Project-level truth
Every worklog is priced with the cost card that was in force on the day it was logged. Planned value, cost to date and margin are the same three numbers your finance team will produce at the close — four months earlier.
Forecasting
Forecastify extends the actual burn at the rate the team is currently working, and tells you which week it meets the budget. This project is fine today and 2 140 000 Ft over at delivery. Both are true, and only one of them is useful in week 14.
Early warning
Thresholds are set per project and per contract. When one is crossed, the people responsible for that project are notified with the number that moved and the number it moved against. No digests, no dashboards to remember to open.

Portfolio visibility
Sort the whole portfolio by margin and the conversation starts in the right place. Cost, margin and forecast are computed the same way for every project, so the comparison is real rather than four spreadsheets held next to each other.
Zero admin overhead
Effort data arrives from wherever the team already works. Forecastify syncs both ways, so a correction made in Forecastify lands back in the tracker and the two never drift apart.
Worklogs, issues and projects map to Forecastify line items. Edits made on either side reconcile on the next sync; conflicts are surfaced, never silently resolved.
Last sync 7 hours ago
The same mapping, the same reconciliation. Agile boards and time-tracking entries arrive with their issue hierarchy intact, so line items don't have to be rebuilt by hand.
Last sync 2 hours ago
Column mapping is saved per source and reused. Rows that fail validation are quoted back with the value and the expected shape, so the file gets fixed once.

The rest of the surface
Margin is only trustworthy if the things underneath it are. These are the parts of Forecastify that make the number defensible in a room with a CFO in it.
A contract holds the commercial terms; line items hold the work. Fixed price, time and materials, and retainers each roll up differently, and the rollup is recalculated rather than stored.
Log work against a line item as the week goes, or run a timer and let it write the entry. Weekly submission, approval, and a lock once the period is costed.
Each person has a cost per hour with a validity range. A rate change in April prices April onward and leaves the costed history exactly where it was.
Absence and overtime are part of capacity, not an exception to it. Requests, balances and approvals feed the same calendar that utilisation and allocation are read from.
Contracts in EUR or USD are converted with the Magyar Nemzeti Bank rate for the day of the transaction, or with a custom rate you set per contract. Either way the rate used is stored with the record.
A team lead can see hours without seeing money. Permissions apply per field, so the same screen can be read-only, partly hidden, or fully open depending on the role.
Every change to a rate, a budget or a permission is recorded with the actor, the previous value and the time. This is what makes a margin figure arguable in an audit.
Workspace settings, integrations, billing, people and the audit log in one administrative surface, separate from the operator product so day-to-day users never see it.
Pricing
Per user, per month, billed annually in HUF. Every tier starts with the same 14-day trial and no card.
The tier boundary is the money layer. Starter tracks what the team did. Professional puts a cost and a margin on it — cost cards, budgets, forecast and portfolio all live above that line, because they are the features that require rate data to exist.
For teams that need clean effort data before they can cost anything.
